I used RentCarla it got the job done, but it felt like I was the one having to be patient the whole time. The website itself is straightforward, and I was able to find cars without too much trouble. But the app was kind of buggy for me, and some pages took longer to load than they should have. The booking steps were clear enough, but it didn’t feel as smooth as I expected. I managed to book what I needed, but it definitely felt like the experience could’ve been easier on the customer.

"Booked a car that didn’t even exist"
I showed up expecting to pick up the car I booked, and they basically had nothing available for me. No real solution, no help, just a wasted trip. what a joke

"Kinda easy pickup, drop-off was fine"
I booked through rentcarla.com and the pickup was kinda smooth overall. I had to wait about 10 minutes at the counter, but it wasn’t a big deal. The car was ready and clean enough when I got it. Drop-off was easy too, I just handed over the keys and left. I’d use them again.

I booked through rentcarla.com and had a question about my pickup info, so I messaged them. I was sitting there waiting almost the whole day before anyone got back to me.

When they finally replied, it was short and didn’t really help much with what I needed. The car itself was fine, no big issue there, but the support was slow and kinda not useful

I liked that the price was shown clearly from the start, so I didn’t get hit with any surprise fees at checkout. The only thing I’d say is the checkout process could maybe be a little smoother or faster. Still, it was nice knowing exactly what I was paying before I finished the order.

"Scammers"

Beware of this company the charged my card 2500 dollars with out giving me any car that i booked with them , i gave them all documents required, in the bookingthe documents required where drivers lincese and credit card with same name  on the approved booking .... which i provided , then the ask me a international licenese.. nit in the booking... i have looked at ither reviews and they do this often to other customers... and get away with this scam i am still trying to retrive my money .... it has been 7 months  , i recived a letter from them that they would refund me with in 37 days still waiting for the money these Carla rental are big scammers

I don’t know, maybe I missed something, but the whole booking process felt way more annoying than it needed to be. There were just too many steps and it wasn’t very clear or easy to get through.

Booking was super easy, but the rental partner changed the pickup time twice and barely picked up my calls. Kinda frustrating ngl, especially since I was just trying to get things sorted on time.

"Took my money, provided no service, refused refund"

I booked through Carla, quoted £150 for a rental in Brindisi. When I arrived, the supplier told me I owed €295. I called Carla, but they couldn’t resolve it and said a supervisor would need to call back.

Stranded at the airport with my one-year-old, I had no choice but to pay the €295 directly to Europcar.

The result:

I lost the £98.39 I had already paid Carla.

Carla provided no service.

I had to pay again, at a higher rate, just to get a car.

Carla have since refused to refund me and instead offered “Carla Cash” — store credit that I neither want nor asked for. This is not a refund.

A complete lack of ownership, transparency, or accountability. I strongly advise avoiding Carla and booking directly with a reputable provider.

"No refund when rental car wasn't available"

I rented a car through Carla Car on their website for a 7 passenger vehicle.  Go to pick up the car and was informed that they do not have a 7 seater available and I absolutely needed 7 passenger.  I asked for a refund for the rental and was told no refund.  I do NOT recommend this company. They will not give you a refund even though their website is obviously not up to date on what's available and did not get a rental at all

"DO NOT USE CARLA RENTALS"

DO NOT USE CARLA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We travelled 30 hours from Australia and had booked a car in Calgary Canada. When we arrived, The car rental refused to release the Car as Carl does not provide the insurance company or policy for your insurance. What they don't tell you is Carla does NOT communicate with the rental company regarding insurance. We had to pay out of pocket and extra $500 Canadian dollars and Carla refused to reimburse us so I'm out here earning everyone. Best to go directly with Car hire company. Less complicated and straight forward that way.
